Anyone fancy a PTS Mint Green...

Sadly no PDLS+, but if I have my dates correct that would have been built right in the middle of the camera shortage, so they wouldn't have been available to order at the time.

Just had the dreaded PADM failure service required driving permitted message on my 2021 model manual GT4 4.5k miles.
Dry undulating B road, driving normally.
Anticipating the inevitability of other one going too I requested both sides to be done simultaneously under warranty but as expected only the defective one can be done.
Maintain your warranty chaps it is an expensive job especially with geo.

How does this work if you’ve had a geo done? I had mine go last year and had it replaced under warranty so no issues there but I’m guessing I probably still have one of the ‘old’ units. If you were to get a set up at say CoG or somewhere and the light came on during the drive home, are you basically stuck having to get the full geo redone? Dry undulating B road, driving normally.

I had this situation running a CoG alignment and the CEL dash error light came on a track day. I asked Exeter Centre to try to keep/set back to CoG settings. After the replacement, I took it back to CoG and Chris said nothing had been disturbed so it is possible not to have to re-do alignment. I wanted changes anyway so not a wasted journey up to CoG.kmpowell said:
Yes, you are correct, but nothing in life is free, is it. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
BTW, I've just got back from a weekend in North Wales, where I took the opportunity to take the 4 for a blast through the mountains en route across A and B roads. Amazing fun. In the bright sunshine (going there) or torrential rain (coming home), the GT4 delivered smiles & smiles in every way possible...

There's a Python Green 718 GT4 PDK on AT at the moment, it's just been reduced to 85k and I'm really considering going for it. It was at 87.5 when I first enquired about it, but it's been there for 3-4 weeks now. Can't stay much longer surely...

This one has a few more miles but is a better specification, cheaper and is from an OPC so has a good warranty:

Great spec but that's very punchy pricing, despite that the only thing I'd change is the lights as the full LEDs look so much better https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...

Mines potentially being swapped in for a GT3 RS, if anyone's in the market, let me know

I didn't notice this one, thanks for putting it up. However, I prefer the other Python one... the yellow stitching and full leather dash is nicer, as are the satin wheels, and tbh I could do without the PCCBs as I'll be tracking it.https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...
As above, though, great buy if it matches your requirements.

I'm refinancing the balloon on my 718 in the coming 60days, so I thought some people (owners and potential buyers) on here might be interested to know where Porsche see GT4 residuals in the coming years.
Car was bought brand new - PDK, registered July 2022, list of £92.5k (Aug 2021 price which I had locked in at point of order in teh summer of '21). 2yr final balloon underwritten at the time was £66.3k.
Balloons underwritten on the car as of today are:
July 2026 - £58.2k
July 2027 - £53.9k
July 2028 - £51.4k
Trade-in values on the car are c£75-77k, so a nice bit of equity still left in the car v the balloon. I ummmed and ahhhed over a 4RS allocation, but financially it made no sense to me v what I use the car for, so I turned the allocation down. Coupled with my OPC actively telling me not to sell the car because in his opinion it's the sweet spot, a good balance of special v road v track, and in his opinion there's nothing coming down the pipeline to match it, or currently in the Porsche 'newish' used market stable at similar value price points. He said I would massively regret changing.
Anyway, given those nice steady depreciation points above, the Python will be staying for at least a couple more years, and it'll be having a couple of treats added to it soon once I've got over the shock of paying £1000 for it's first service.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Great post, thanks, this is great information. Quick question - Which OPC was this..?? Mine has the same opinion about the GT4 and has actively encouraged me not to sell mine as he reckons its unicorn spec and also last of its line with nothing on the horizon that offers a similar experience for the money......Car was bought brand new - PDK, registered July 2022, list of £92.5k (Aug 2021 price which I had locked in at point of order in teh summer of '21). 2yr final balloon underwritten at the time was £66.3k.

Interested to see if it's more than one OPC that views the GT4 as a cracking enthusiasts car rather than something to flip to get into something more expensive
