Painted Bonnet is also a zero cost configurable option within Weissach Pack.

Yes, it looks poor value and basically just a way to squeeze more £ out of the punters! You going for buckets or comfort?
Yes the weissach option isnt great, especially as I was considering a painted bonnet. But as i'm a sucker for PTS, looks like im going to have to go for it curse

One of the reasons I decided not to proceed with an order was that my spec came to over £165K. I don’t care how good it is that is just silly money for a Boxster. I wanted PTS, painted bonnet and heated 18ways. So I was paying best part of £10K for Weissach pack and then taking all the good stuff off. banghead

Not being the normal PH level of financial super hero these things matter to me.

I spec’d “mine” in all black with Weissach pack, I’m a sucker for carbon. I did actually send it to the local dealer but I can imagine how much attention that would garner hehe

Steel brakes and red belts and stickers to match the red roof hooks, silver wheels.

I normally prefer GT models in brighter colours but there’s just too much visually going on with this car it needs monochroming a bit.

Yes, I know what you mean, for me the. At potentially works in my head at around £130K - above that (for me anyway) it’s just too dear for a Boxster as you say.

Now that sir is a good question.

Have the comforts in the GT4 and get on very well with them and can’t imagine will be able to get seat time in the buckets of which I’m very sceptical.

Can only imagine the dealers face when they get my ‘povo spec’ of racing yellow, no Weissach and comforts.

They can shove the watch as well LOL

I actually like that spec you have there. Black windscreen surround and black handles. Could go all the way and get steel brakes with the red calipers, red badges and if your brave enough the red piping on the roof wink

Mine was £136k, I get that a lot would want front axle lift, PTS and ceramics but what else constitutes £30k worth of extras over my Weissach spec car?!

Yeah I choose those options on my spec and it’s a lot of money, but I take the view that it’s the car I’ve always wanted, I had to jump threw many hoops to get an allocation, I may as well get options I want rather than regret not having them.

Can’t wait!

Anyone else go for PTS and what colour did you choose?

Sounds great, what have you gone for? Is the Dakar staying too?

My spec came in at 160 with Weissach, magnesium wheels and PCCB. Looking forward to it.

No I couldn’t bring myself to spec mag wheels, it would break my heart when they undoubtably get kerbed.

I’d have liked to have seen him put the blue wheels on the white car ( before he changed the colour to grey ) to see how it looked with his graphics .

Thinking of a homage to the 996 GT3 scheme ( albeit in a not quite so good shade of blue) … if not that then just likely to be safe grey with silver but that just feels to sensible for a R/S .
