GT4RS - Availability, what’s the latest?

As i say on the SRS thread… 4RS has underbody aero fins which make its clearance lower than the GT4. You can get away without having lift IMO. Not essential but would be a nice convenience to maybe get you out of tricky situation.
Its front valance / splitter also sticks out more than a regular GT4 IIRC so if you have to go uphill onto a driveway for example (like I do), its essential...... HokumPokum said:
i actually want a no frills car with PCCB. figure 130k. so whilst i was shown a fully loaded delivery car with the expensive chronograph at 187k, what's the point? And i actually do not want lift as the cooking car was designed originally without it. I do not think it is any lower than a GT4
Have you started to ask about at the opc to see if there are any future allocations available? Far Cough said:

Must say, I think the sweet spot for these cars is near stock/list price. finmac said:

Must say, I think the sweet spot for these cars is near stock/list price. on the used market, over 200 cars in the Uk already and more coming through so there will be a fair amount of choice in the near future.
I agree they looked good value at £130k.

But there isn't an any spec car on the market at around that price ... only a new allocation ...
One day ?
I was referring to the value porsche Uk puts on it at around £130k with spec when new at list price, not the used overs market, driven by the opc. One day ?
The 992 gt3 are getting close to list so there’s a small possibility these may follow suite ?
Jumping to this party late. Had the 718 4 for 3 years now. Great car and sorted for my needs.
Test drove the RS yesterday. What a car, loved it. Noise, poise etc. Screaming engine. Don’t think it’s too loud in normal use. If you’re constantly red lining it then maybe some sound buds can help.
I’m sorely tempted to move onto the RS as it’s everything GT4 drivers have asked for and now prices are approaching list..

You should not pay list.
But, the problem is the wp plus options which can add 30k to the base price. Even at list, that’s rather pricey
Yep, not cheap once optioned. But standard 4s were pricey optioned. But, the problem is the wp plus options which can add 30k to the base price. Even at list, that’s rather pricey
Mind you, that was coming on two years and a fair few price rises ago! Still think the RS makes most sense in basic spec.
The WP seems to add little apart from some sexy exposed Carbon - for £10K extra - I can live with a painted bonnet!

I am currently looking at upgrading from my 981 GT4 to a GT4 rs, any idea what angle of drive way the front lift can cope with ? Is it an improvement on the GT4? An insight v welcome 👍finmac said:
My second GT4 was specd with full Clubsport, steel brakes - think it came in at £92K if I remember.

Here’s a shot of my other GT4, basically same location but more scenery this time!
One owner, high mileage, hi-spec, £10k under the OTR price ...

Still way over list though ?https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...
They were £108,000 + extras , my online spec with WP only came to £123,000
Still a nice car but very high mileage so probably had plenty of track time
