Ah, of course, it belongs to the OPC dealer principal ...

Why advertise a car that's not for sale ?
Game playing to drive up the price?
Love that colour though imo best green out there , remember a few 981 gt4 in that colour they looked awesome
I guess so ... would they turn down £180k if somebody loved it ? (I do like it ... but there are better Porsche's at that money for my money!).

Absolute fortune now £15k for a 4RS or 718 GT4.

Tyrone and I bought it at the “old” prices.

As I have bored on before I use my car in hillclimbing and the KWs work well on pretty variable surfaces whem sprinting. I hope it is as good on the 4RS…..I bought it rather than WP.

Wager lol.

£500 to a good charity says you are wrong.

Most OPCs only getting 2 more cars for 2024. Then 2 more end of run cars for 2025. Cars specced now are Sept Oct delivery following summer shutdown.

You found the words I couldn’t put together. Thanks Chris.

I think it goes beyond just a driver learning though… for a more driver, once they push on a car enough they also are going to find limits.

With both my 981 and 718 with upgraded chassis… i’ve been able showcase time and time again… that the stuff makes a difference…eg being able to stay on throttle through bumpy sections at Oulton Park and Castle Combe where other drivers without chassis upgrades have to back off/lift/ cannot carry the speed or have to take a longer-slower line. They come and ask… how can you do that?, and comment that the car just looks planted.

BTW nobody is saying you the car needs this stuff. It depends on the individual.
If you are not in those scenarios, or dont feel the limitations, carry on as you were.

Thanks ... maybe just different words. And I agree completely.

The example I would give at Oulton is the braking area at the end of the pit straight ... there is a dip on the left hand edge and prior to the KW's being fitted under braking the near side tyre would chirrup into the corner. With the KW's ... this was gone.
Also running the kerbs becomes relatively seamless ... where the PASM system would firm up and then crash over the kerbs. I wondered if this had caused some of the turret top failures in the USA ??

Dunno Tyrome, wish I onew more of the black art that is suspension tuning but the experienced and top HC I race against all dump OEM stuff (GT4 GTS) and run KW or Nitrons usually with firmer springs to reduce camber loss on hard compression (hope I have got that right)!

Sorry for my ignorance, but are all the MR dampers passive? If so, what happens to the PASM circuit?

Hey Jack. Yes they are passive. (We’ll see what gets done for 992 3RS though!)

It comes with a PASM delete kit that puts ‘ghost limbs’ on the system and ensures the other vehicle dynamics systems still behave.

not 10% but discounts will be available on cars by next year. market is saturated with so called limited production/limited edition cars, with more to come. dakars are at below list price now with delivery miles.

Open question, would you trade in a MY23 GT4 for a Spyder RS build slot

Is probably the answer to why so many 4RS are returning to stock… lots of the same people just getting the next car… SRS or GT3 RS or lining up for 992.2 GT3.

Brand new unregistered one showing up on the Porsche Finder at Wolves. Still having a laugh at £180k.

Lovely at JZM. https://jzmporsche.com/cars/porsche-718-p0657/

Would be even better with a painted bonnet.

Silver wheels and Black Callipers FTW.
