Hi all, I’ve recently obtained an allocation without any stipulations.
Black, WP, pccb, lift and a few other bits. Just shy of £148k inc on the road costs.
I’m under no illusion it will depreciate but it will be at a slower rate than many other cars in this price bracket.
It’s a real unicorn in my opinion that will be appreciated more in a few years time.
Mine is a June build which is scheduled to arrive early September.
Will post pics as soon as it’s here ??
Congratulations, sounds cool with WP and black. Black, WP, pccb, lift and a few other bits. Just shy of £148k inc on the road costs.

I jave been lucky enough to get an allocation. It could still be specced (just). A cancelled order that someone on here introduced me to and which the dealer was willing for me to have. I am going silver non WP clubsport black wheels and extended leather with silver stictching; FAL; grey cage belts and door pulls and LEDs. Imagine it will be the most conservative RS ever specced. I am also having the MR shocks as they have been stupendously good on my 981. Will it be worth the £85k to change? Well my view is yes. I though hard about Chris’ shift to a GT3 991.2RS. But this was a bit more and i really enjoy how the Cayman chassis handles. New/barely used WP GT4RS bump right up against these and I suspect this and the incessant whinging about noise is putting real buyers off. If anyone here has tried Dundon’s full package for a 981 GT4 (I have) then it cannot be any worse and Dundon’s incurable drone led me to switching to Cargraphics and Akra exhaust. Anyway man maths worked for me and hopefully i will have dialled it in for HC season next year.
Big thank you to the guy on here who gave me the lead!

Should I have gone GT4RS ?? As mentioned it was a knife edge decision but my GT3RS only cost me £5k more than a fair value GT4RS of a high spec that I didn't want ... and I knew that I had to experience a modern GT3RS at some point.
I've added mags as an alternative to the MR KW's and I'm embarking on my next learning phase

But this is brilliant news and I will really enjoy watching your progress !!!
This forum is getting exciting ... again.

Ditto, well done. Our Porsche world is returning to some sense of normality Black, WP, pccb, lift and a few other bits. Just shy of £148k inc on the road costs.

Normality was 50% depreciation over 3-4 years.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Eyes wide open, tough resale market at the moment and the residuals and overs of the last few years are long gone.

Of course if you bought a Taycan ...

Thanks, looking forward to collecting it. I was at the PEC Silverstone last week and the car was sensational. Too many people moaning about the noise but that’s the best bit!!! This in no way is a daily sort of car but a track and weekend fun car.GT4RS said:
Do you think this car could be being flipped by the opc?
This car isn’t far from me, on the face of it looks like a well priced car with CS and PCCB but this will be a tough sell as I think it’s the only one with a plastic dash which in my opinion looks terrible and out of place on a car at this price point. I noticed it comes with the watch which doesn’t really add value but shows the first owner has to take one to get the allocation. Why the OPC didn’t advise differently on that spec is a mystery.

I think Autocar used to say 60% at three years for the non GT cars and better than this for the GT cars. But yes, depreciation is a likely given so fair value comes only from using them ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I’m confident these will still be over £100k at 3 and possibly 4 years old.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

The market is shocking at the moment, look how much you can pick up a 992 gts up for.
Markets always over exaggerate either way
Order number
Just I thought, my order number is 4910, could this be the number of cars produced so far. Would tally if they build into next year and hit the 7000 total units mark suggested.
Just a thought, anyone with earlier cars have order numbers to hand. Should be on the my Porsche app next to the chassis number.

I don’ t think its related. Just I thought, my order number is 4910, could this be the number of cars produced so far. Would tally if they build into next year and hit the 7000 total units mark suggested.

That said, I expect them to pull the plug just short of 7k worldwide on these.
Hi guys if anybody is aware of an OPC who has an amendable slot please can you PM/email me.
I’ve chased several via phone one who has stipulated Porsche finance and over priced ceramic coating!
The finance isn’t really an issue as finance brokers have said it can be refinanced but I’m still paying overs when you consider the price of the coating.

Agreed.I love my 4RS. You buy the car knowing it’s loud and harsh……
If I wanted a comfortable compliant car I’d have got a new Golf Gti or similar
and saved a lot of money……the 4RS does exactly what it says on the tin!
