Is it so unreasonable that somebody was offered a slot by his OPC [especially if a reasonably good customer]? They seem to be building plenty of them judging by the # of cars for sale on mobile.de.

I have been offered a slot but it has conditions which appear non negotiable!
Contemplating turning it down or will I regret it if am not so fortunate again.
Jesus your prepared to spunk best part of £150K on a completely discretionary purchase which will drop £20K in value the moment you take delivery and the OPC wants to apply non negotiable conditions? Get a grip and tell them to do one.

Do not do a deal you are not comfortable with.

Haha. The pricing, availability and general values are important but as you say, nice to get them out so we don't forget why we talk about them in the first place

We appear to have landed back in a world where the GT Porsche premium bubble has burst. Depreciation is an actual thing.

Hopefully, people will now just buy cars they want to use, rather than swank around in or, worse yet, just flip and trade.

What are the conditions which appear to be non negotiable?

I mentioned my experience earlier in this thread, offered a zero mile car in stock but must by a new Taycan Turbo S.... usual fair etc.

I declined saying I'll buy a flipped one and say some £££ in the process.

What was their response to that?

Exactly. Peeps continually moaning about the cost can’t afford the cars. Cars are not investments wink

What’s the point of posting this on an RS thread?
I thought this thread was about GT4RS availability?

My comment was trying to show that there clearly is availability, times have changed. That’s my point 😉

Obvious point made in patronising tone. Pork buyers know times have changed…

Interesting that you were offered a gt4rs slot and the option of a SRS slot, did they ask you to buy the watch or a tycan as well or was it just spec and order what you actually want?

To be fair the salesman was passing on the info from the head of sales, he could see my rationale given the current overs market is nearly gone.
