Hi All,
Anyone on here upgraded their 992.2 using the Techart engine power kit? Takes HP up by 111 and NM by 80. Love my new T but want a little more punch from the engine.

Speak to Litchfield and 9e too. Litchfield cover the car with their own warranty too. Same with Genome Porsche.

Thanks I did. One said still developing, the other said it’s technically identical to the 992.1 (which it’s clearly not). I can’t stand BS’ers and ruled them out immediately.

There is more anti tamper protection on the ECU for the gen 2, so they’re not finding it so easy.

Techart avoids the ECU and seems to be a proven installation.

The performance stats claims look astonishing for the power claims. 100-200kph in 6.2 secs and 0-200kph in 9.7 secs very fast for a 505bhp/530nm 911. You should take it up to Elvington and run standing mile with a VBOX if you do go for the piggy back solution. Looks neat and have only heard good things re Tech 9.

Is it me or does everything Techart offer seem vulgar and a sure fire way to even more depreciation in value.

I stand corrected as the centre console and gear set up in that looks way nicer than OEM.

I agree, it does sound astonishing, in terms of acceleration improvement. I’ve decided to go for it and have it booked in next week. I won’t be running standing starts but am looking forward to enjoying it on track from time to time.

I’m just installing the power kit, none of their other enhancements. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder there. My car doesn’t even have the stock decals on it, nor the H pattern window stickers and I’m even taking the mirror housing back to body colour. It’ll just look like what it is - a Carerra but a manual one.

By the sounds of the turbo and breathing/cooling enhancements made for the 992.2 version, together with the updated brakes, I don’t feel I need to make other mechanical changes. Time will tell…
