Mine has just had its 2 year service, cost me £950. Apparently my rears have just 3 months in them despite having 4mm of tread, I also need to urgently address the pollen filter as the app keeps reminding me. I have zero trust or time these days.

Nice car.

What you must do with any 911 servicing cost is divide by two - because there's a 2 year interval. Otherwise you'll get upset. smile

Works for me.

Mine is going in tomorrow, quoted a similar pricing level - includes the pollen filter change

My 992.1 Carrera T had its 2 year service done at Porsche Tewkesbury in November. Price was around £1k inc filters. I also requested they don t fill up the washer fluid instead I purchased the winter fluid and didn t myself.

Don t forget to use your PCGB discount to get a bit off parts if you re a member

I've been quoted £1450 for the first 2 year service on a 2024 GT3RS. I cannot comprehend how a simple service, mainly involving oil, filter and brake fluid can be so expensive.
And why it should cost more than the already ludicrous amount you have had to pay for a Carrera T?
I might take it to my local specialist who is equally as capable and less than half the money.
I don't plan on buying an extended warranty when the original one runs out anyway.

For quite an expensive car, I wouldn't be too troubled by £1450 to be honest.

992.1 gt3 4 year service ranges from £3800 to £4800, so the 2 year pocket money

Have you tried a few dealers yet from different franchise?

I did Sheffield, Notts, Silverstone and West London (purchased car from them) when I had GT3 done. Went with Sheffield

Same for 991.2 GT3 RS too. I’m a bit stuck with OPC, because warranty needs to be renewed next year.

Just had a price for a four year service on my 992 GT3 and it's £3780! Am now contemplating going indy as have had a price of less than 1K! Just weighing up the impact on future value.....

Divide by two and it won’t seem quite as bad.

If it's a reputable Indie, you plan on keeping the car and you have no intention of extending the warranty then go for it. It gets a bit iffy if/when you come to put a Porsche extended warranty on as they will insist on doing the last service themselves (if done by an Indie) before putting the warranty on it. That may well be an issue for a new owner if they'd want to put a Porsche extended warranty on it.

I have a 992.1 GTS just about to hit four years. I’m in south bucks and my local OPC wanted £2,538. I contacted a couple of other OPCs and saved myself £700 and have a nice (possibly) drive west to look forward to.

Ouch. That’s worth knowing, mine is coming up to three years.

On a similar note, it’s not due a service this year but was wondering whether to get the oil changed. It’s done 5000 miles in the year but I’ve never liked extended service schedules. Thoughts? Anyone else get the oil changed outside the schedule?

It’s never a ‘bad’ thing to switch oil earlier than schedule, or brake fluid for that matter. Just DIYed both on mine as it is new to me. Car was never tracked but the brake futile was full of air bubbles, even though colour was still looking new.
