A little bit of potential crystal ball gazing I know but interested to hear people’s opinion. When will the new RS be released and how far will Porsche jack up the price over the 992:1 - price wise I’m guessing the base car will jump 10% to £220K?

at a guess about the same percentage as a Turbo S went up maybe [I don't now what that number is for the UK].

They'll probably just go the whole hog, and strap a 737 between the end plates

given they eliminated luggage space last time, maybe this time the passenger seat will be excluded and replaced with something that enhances performance

lots of speculation re. 992.2 3RS and 2RS.
if there is a .2 3RS it will be significantly more then a 10% increase.
3RS new order production stopped in October/Nov 25.

Surely a both a 992.2 GT3 RS (which I expect to be about as different as a 992.2 GT3 and .1 are) and GT2 RS is a no brainer. The GT2 isn't hampered by the emissions that the GT3 is and the engine is already developed and the GT3 RS is essentially a GT3 with more profit margin built in.

Porsche know they can ask more money for them but for how long? They need to pump them out quick and fast while they can.

So is a turbo hybrid what people want from an RS?

Considering it will be much more expensive than the .1 version, and that there’s around 30 of them sitting in showrooms at the moment, I suspect getting one will be easier than ever!

Imo ( and I have the 992.1 3RS ), the 992.2 3RS will be released in far fewer numbers compared to the .1, simply because it appears to appeal to only a small number of buyers, due to its storage factor.

I certainly don't buy the other reason and that's - "you can't use them on UK roads".

I love mine and have no regrets changing from my 991.2 GT3.

But of course Porsche have always said that numbers would be tiny and then ?? They suit themselves.

It may of course be true that numbers could be tiny, but then I'm sure they would make it a limited edition at a premium price and limit the number to ... let me see ... 2026 ??

I may be cynical, but I may not be wrong smile
