991.1 - Failed fan for heater and air con
Discussion
Hi Chaps/Ladies
As is often the case with winter I have driven my car 3/4 times in the last 3 months. On the last outing I noticed the fans on the heater were not working. The car had been parked for about 3/4 weeks. After an hour's drive hey presto the fans came on. Just took the car out for a drive again after a 3/4 week lay off and same issue again. OPC will fix it under warranty.
The question is whether this is common. I assuming a module has got frost bite and needs a while to wake up.

Sounds like a common problem, especially if the car isn't used regularly in winter.

Thanks Panamax - problem solved. It was surprisingly stuck - took a few attempts to unstick it. Sounds like a common problem, especially if the car isn't used regularly in winter.
