So the 992 GT3 that required you to be on a personal relationship level with your dealer and to have a excellent buying history to get one actually works out that they sold three times more of them worldwide than pretty much all the GT3's before.

If anyone ever tells you a 992 GT3 is a rare car again laugh and tell them they made nearly 16k of them.

No Ice Grey? I’ve seen a few in the flesh, so how accurate is that list?

common as muck - I am less surprised by the numbers, more that people regarded the GT3 as rare in the first place.

Roughly twice as many 992.1’s than 991.2’s…latter were about 650 in the UK. When I last looked on howmanyleft it looked like 1300 or more 992’s.

Porsche have been quietly bringing a lot more cars in to the UK. I know with both the Dakar and SRS OPC’s got were only expecting a couple of cars initially and got 8 to 10.

China volumes have collapsed, it appears they’ve tried to protect the balance sheet by selling as many high spec/price cars in other markets as they can.

You can't have seen any in the metal, Ice Grey wasn't an option on the normal GT3, only the RS.

If North America is one third of the market, might the total number of 991.2 GT3RS be 8000 ?

(The Uk was 10% of Porsche sales ... but now ??)

Herewith the latest info I can find on the overall production numbers ... maybe this is why GT car prices are coming under pressure ?

And then there are GT4RS that must compete for the same market ??

It's also worth noting how many GT2RS cars that were built ... but where are they ?
