Is a 992.2 Dakar coming?

Seems to be lots of rumours floating about as integration in regular range such as 991R became 991 GT3 touring.

Dealers do not seem to be aware, no spy pictures.

Prices of Dakar have shaved 25% in 6 months is only indication.

Curious to hear people's views.

is that not an indication that the prices were perceived as 25% too expensive from the get go?

possibly but it feels like there is a perception that an equivalent more mainstream version is coming in car circles. Dealers not very communicative about it or simply don't know. Was wondering if there was more insight on PH.

Pure speculation but I suspect we'll soon be seeing a non limited Dakar-lite, called the 911 Carrera X
