I had a stop/start warning yesterday and planned to get it looked at this week, no major concern until this morning when it progressed to a yellow electrical fault before shutting off while on a dual carriageway and starting back up - then the warnings flowed:
- electrical fault - inspection required
- drive fail - rear wheel drive only - inspection required
- rear diff fail - drive accordingly - inspection required
- another I didn’t catch

Limped home on back roads and when I turned it off - everything went black screen wise. No power. Theft alert.

Can’t even shut the door. Recovery on way. Anyone had anything similar? I expect the 15 month old 6.5k mile battery has failed, but really?

Happy Sunday!

Same happened to me, no prior warnings then complete shutdown, no power to anything. Turned out to be a loose main earth on the battery where it bolts to the car, not battery

Turns out I have has a visitor - damage to wiring loom.

Anyone had any experience around this? I’m gutted. But will get it sorted. Never been in any of the other cars in the garage or the bike.

Ouch!
I dread this in mine (it lives in a car port on an old farm).
Hope it's not too serious, and that your insurance will cover it (it should).
