Afternoon all,

I’m in the early stages of a search for another GTS.

This looks nice but has been for sale for ages. What’s wrong with it? Is it the colour or lack of rear seats?

The bucket seats would put me off as well. The look smacks of someone who wanted a GT3 Touring but couldn’t get allocation.

The green seat belts not matching the body colour looks dreadful in my opinion.

That’s bloody lovely.

Each to their own but can’t see any issue with it beyond my love for a Spanish gear box.

Love it python green is by far the best colour on the GTS. I’d want back seats in a GTS but other than that it’s stunning.

It’s a funny one for some reason. My kids don’t fit in the back anymore so not worried about lack of seats and it’s a mega spec. I’d imagine that was north of £160k when new. I’m pretty sure it was in the showroom last Christmas too so maybe a deal to be done.

Only thing I don't like is the sunroof, but if can get deal on that with 85 miles on it it's a bargain compared to a 992.2.

Demo car looking at description.

I’d agree though buckets would put some people off as would the colour for some people if they were going to DD it.

The Lizard Green belts and LG dials through the car clash badly with the Python, IMO. I say that as somebody who owns a Python Green Porsche.

Also, the lightweight pack in a GTS is a very weird thing. This car has it, which is why it has carbon buckets and no back seats (they have been very careful not to show or picture the lack of back seats!).

Changing the seat belt fabric is less than £100 and 24 hour turnaround . . . there’s a whole industry out there!

Presumably the buckets are worth more than comfort equivalents so could be swapped?

You can get rear seats installed too. But who could be bothered with all that, it's hardly a rare car.

Plenty of GTS's on Porsche's own website in conservative colours, 18 way front seats, rear seats, that are more practical and daily driveable.

The lightweight pack removes sound deadening too on an already noisy car. Those bucket seats impede access to the rear, so harder to stick luggage back there.

Take what makes a 911 useable, ditch it. Is that the right spec for a GTS?

I appreciate the various niggles that people have been pointing out, but essentially I think that if you like Viper Green and want a more road racer vibe GTS which matches the energy of the exterior colour then it is a nice car and there is nothing "wrong" with it.

The market is "faster" to move for greys, silvers, blacks than Viper green. And probably faster to move for sports plus seats compared to buckets on a GTS. But car sales people recognise that there is a buyer for every car. Ultimately someone, somewhere specified that car to start off with. The rest is a matter of price and time.

If you are interested in the car I'd put in an offer that you would be happy with and see what kind of response you get.

PS. Plenty of nice GTS out there, so ultimately if the dealer is not keen to meet you on price you can try on some of the other similar loud coloured GTS out there. Heck there is even an Lizard Green 991 GT3 RS at Bolton that has been on the Approved website for literally months. If you like the green theme / bucket seat thing and you can afford a bit extra then you could see if they want to sell that at a better price to make room for new stock.

I think its stunning. Looks superb. I'd say its a relative bargain considering a 992.2 Carrera with a bit of spec is similar money.
