I literally just picked up a 991.1 Turbo S from non OPC dealer in central London. It took about 2 hours to get out of the 30s and literally on the first 70 I accelerated up and under load there is a massive amount of juddering from both front wheels - like it’s slipping and skipping over something really rough. I backed off immediately and it’s stopped. I tried again and both engine warning light came on and traction warning about 4 wheel drive .
I pulled over when I could and restarted the car which clears the code but the issue is still there if I accelerate. I will be going back tot eh dealer to see if I can reject the car bit any items what it could be?

I thinking it’s something like drive shaft/ differential

Given the engine lights and only occurring under load, I’m inclined to think it’s diff / driveshaft causing a measurable difference in wheel speed.

It feels like that clutch slipping/judder. It’s very intense. It’s a PDK however of course

I’ve experienced similar symptoms - albeit not in a Porsche - with a failing steering angle sensor.

Probably just a sticky turbo actuator rod from sitting around. Will just needs a bit of grease or actuator replaced very common issue on VTG turbo.

It’s off to Reading OPC on Monday so will know more then.

On reflection it could be the engine as much as the PDK box.

Dealership have been great to deal with, which makes a freshing change from most!

Sorry to hear of your troubles, but getting an OPC slot for Monday is outstanding ! The one down my way (colchester) would be more like 2 months wait or more if want a courtesy car !
