This is on a few years old car with what looks to be original panels, paint and factory seam sealant.

Nearside trailing edge of front wheel arch does not align with the end of the sill. Door gap gets wider lower down.

Offside does not exhibit this.

Surely this is outside of factory spec. Anyone else aware of misaligned wings and panels on cars coming out of the factory?

There is no way that left the factory like that, you don’t even need the pointers to see the issue, something else going on.

I remember some early 981 Boxsters having this misaligned sill issue on delivery and it was fixed under warranty .

Vaugely recall this and had heard similar tales on other brands. But it looks to be more that just the sill.

Indeed something else. Shame as I quite liked it before spotting this.

Theres a lot of adjustment on the panels to get them exactly right, perhaps its had a new wing?

Wings were being cut open to steal headlights, or perhaps its had a bump? I dont think it would have passed factory QC like that.

Did you just live with it or did Porsche address it?
