Just saw one of these in Switzerland, being driven out of my hotel roof down.

Does anyone know how rare this model is in UK RHD? I don’t think I have ever seen one for sale or in the flesh. A couple of manual coupes, but not a Cabrio.

Both the cab and coupe in manual form very rare. I can see collectors sticking them away for next 20 yrs as investments. World wide I imagine there are probably less manual gen 2 997 turbo coupe and cab combined than 997 GT2 RS. Everyone wanted PDK when it first came out on 997 turbo. Cars equipped with PDK were hitting 60mph in 2.8 secs which was mind blowingly quick in 2010.

I had a pdk, astonishingly quick as you say. I could never understand how they got enough fuel in it to go like that. Still ok mpg on a tour too.

The “last manual” syndrome is big in Ferraris of that era too. Two pedal variants faster, better, more convenient, now collectors want the rare manuals.

But I wonder how collectible these particular cars really are. Unlike Ferrari, Porsche did not stop making manual cars. Plenty of even more exciting ones available of every variety pretty much

What’s for sure is that people seem to be hanging onto them!

Quite right. I missed the .2 in title.
Hexagon have sold a few in the past. 1 red and 1 blue.
