Spotify App missing in 992

Anyone else’s Spotify app disappeared from their PCM today?

Noticed it was gone this morning (used it as usual yesterday). Still missing when I drove home tonight. DAB/FM, favourites, Apple CarPlay and USB still there but the Spotify icon is gone.

‘My Porsche’ app on my iphone says my Spotify account is linked to Porsche account.

I’m aware I can still access Spotify through Apple CarPlay but the sound quality is far superior using the Spotify app in the PCM.

Any ideas before I contact my OPC?

Still didn’t work this morning, and I also noticed the radio wouldn’t display any album art and the Sat Nav wouldn’t provide traffic updates either. Assumed the issue is something data related.

Pinged an email to Porsche customer service first thing (haven’t had a response yet).

Got in the car to drive home tonight… everything is back to normal. Still none the wiser to what the issue was.

I didn’t use my car last week until Saturday , but on turning it on I had a couple of notices telling me that the infotainment had been updated .

Good thought, but everything went back to normal on Friday, the update happened for me yesterday. Not sure what the update did, have you noticed anything different?

No I can’t see anything different , and the messages don’t tell you anything specific either , I’ve got no idea what the update did .
