As rare as it gets - 1 of 2 RHD examples, the only to be delivered to the UK. Stunning. Quite something huh?

What's so special about it?

Just looks like a green automatic 911 from the pictures.

I guess if you are looking at UK RHD cars, then it is the rarest (maybe sharing that spot with another car) as it would be tough to have less than 1 car (or it would not be much fun if it was only half a car....)

Ah I stand corrected, or rather the sales info does.
What a gem though - seems very good value being such a unicorn.

Rare but not special I would say….bit of a parts bin job like a few other similar cars. There’s a US equivalent they made 60 of and then a few other 991 limited edition variants in Europe which were quite often a special order for each country. Like the 991 Targa Florio which I think there were 7 of for the UK.

It’s not a £200k car never mind £300k.

I’d much rather this more common thing.

It’s a well known car within the PCGB - originally owned by Mike Windsor, a lovely man who sadly passed away a few years ago. I remember being with him to pick the car up from Dick Lovett Bristol and we had numerous Club tours with him and Pauline so at least the car was properly used to begin with. A very nice spec though as Cheib says it is probably ambitious price wise, though it has changed hands a couple of times already.

I think production is the key word the other 3 are not production cars but specials, so it is the rarest production car as they state.

Yep. Take a random green 992 and stick a ducktail on it. I think only true Porsche fans would know the difference and nod approvingly. It would make most general car enthusiasts shrug.

I mean yes it's nice, but it's not six times as nice as this.

Bramley Tax - it's a well known thing

Take a standardish car, paint it green, take some shiny photos of it in Bramley plates and add 100% mark up

The problem is that it looks like an aftermarket modification ... what was the real purpose of it ?

I had never heard of it but ??

Martini 930 Turbo, one of six cars according to Bonhams. So that will be rarer that the “rarest Porsche ever built”

The trouble with all these claims is they’re quite spurious in my opinion unless it a series production car…the Martini 930 Turbo is like the Club Coupe….parts bin job. Also who verifies the claims ?

It’s a bit like the 993 Turbo that was up for sale recently for £1mil plus because “it was the last air cooled 911 to leave the factory”…last because it spent six months in the Exclusiv department rather than being the last 993 made.

Doesn't look anything special. A 997 in a dodgy colour.

If I wanted rare I think I'd be after the Pixar collaboration car. 1 of 1.
