997.2 Turbo S potential purchase - anything to look out for?

Hi,

I've been looking for a 997.2 Turbo S for a while and this one fits the spec I've been waiting for (spyder alloys, black leather, no rear wiper)

Annoyingly, the car is 5 hours away from me. I'd hoped one would come up for sale at RPM, JZM, Ashgood etc... as they're all about a 30min drive for me.

The dealer is not a Porsche specialist, and I don't really have an option to get a pre purchase inspection carried out. Is there anything I should be mindful of / aware of when buying a 997.2 Turbo S?

The service book is stamped by Porsche Bolton at: 16988, 21394, 24846, 27416, and by Jasmine Porschalink at: 28677, 29973. The last service included spark plugs, brake fluid, air filter, oil filter and carbon filter. The transmission oil and PDK clutch fluid were replaced by Porsche in 2018.

Hi could you not pay to put it through a main dealer Porsche inspection - costs around £200 and should give you a decent view of its condition and any work required.
Have you checked it’s MOT history online that could also help to take a view on how it’s been cared for depending on any previous advisories or failures.

What an absolute stunner! Get it inspected then get it bought. And quickly!

Out of maybe 60 cars I’ve owned it’s the single only one I regret selling. Not a GT3. Owned one of those. I get that. But so darn useable and gorgeous. Different strokes. Prefer these.
