I have a base 991.1 Carrera 3.4. I am considering upgrading to either a 991.1 gts or a 991.2 gts.Which is the most reliable as I’ve heard that the 991.2 3.0 turbos can be problematic? Could anyone please advise me if they have had any problems with the 991.2 turbo charged engine? Many thanks

The problem as I understand it is related to the oil feed to the Turbos.

Apparently there is a recall and/or upgrade from Lichfield to solve the point?

I'm sure a more knowledgeable member will be along to provide some more useful info soon.

Had both, had a turbo issue.

The .2 is the better car but try both. The .1 noise is brilliant.
