Aerokits

Have started watching the market recently with a view to getting into a 911 early next year (though still looking at some other cars). Haven't ruled anything out as yet, from a base 997 to a 992 Turbo S, but I have a few months to decide what makes most sense for me.

Regarding Aerokits, what's the consensus on these fitted to base cars? Are they considered desirable or do people find them a bit tacky, and although I tend to keep my cars for some time, would it have a negative or positive effect as and when I sell?

Id just get the 992 Turbo S you reference and not bother with a base car with an aerokit.

As many like them as those who prefer a more refined look, the aerokits often don't recoup their initial purchase cost
