Headlights 996 2002

Hiya.

I have a 996. It's in excellent condition but the headlights have lost their sparkle, just a little yellow. They have been refurbished professionally several times, but I think they have had it. I need to find replacements, but they are so, so expensive... Anyone have any ideas?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

They will come back to like new.

When they have been done previously are they clear coated to protect them from UV?

If not, within months they will be yellow again.

Not sure about that. It took me ages to get the clear coat off of my Cayenne headlights, because they were yellowing and the clear coat was failing. When I got them back to good through wet & dry paper, and machine polishing, I’ve used Meguiars clear plastic polish every now and again and so far no problems at all with the yellow returning.
