Just seeing if anyone can recommend an independent valuation specialist? My brother has a 911 996 with various, and expensive, modifications. His insurance is an 'agreed value' policy - but so far he hasn't had the value agreed. TIA.

I think that's the route he's going to take.

I was in a situation similar to yourself with a very low mileage but standard 997, worth 50% more than book values.
I went with classicline and got an agreed value policy (£20 extra) which was based on current photos and a comprehensive description. They agreed to value in about 20 minutes via email.... should have gone higher!
I would recommend Porsche Club GB membership to access the best prices. Hagerty are their primary recommended insurer but classicline had the better policy for me and I got club discount.
The insurance themselves (if he has taken out his policy already) should provide the valuation service themselves. An independent 3rd party valuation being accepted is not the industry norm.

Classicline will do it themselves or accept TIPEC or Porsche Club valuations.
