Akrapovic - 997.1 GT3???

I have the chance to get the full Titanium system from headers all the way to tips.

Any thoughts from those in the know?

It is obviously a used system but at 25% of new price.

Told in “perfect condition”.

1. Do they suit the .1 Gt3?

I was tempted by Dundon but this might do the job at a good price.

It's the full race system so no side mufflers and centre silencer? Well it's probably bloody loud so make sure you have no noise issues at your local track and/or be sure your tolerance is high enough would definitely want to check for cracks though, have had more than a few issues with the (OEM) titanium rear silencer on the RS fwiw....

Straight pipes come up for sale regularly, in almost new condition. Have a guess why? I've listened to one from calais to Monaco, it was painful just sitting behind him.

Not something you'll live with for long I reckon.

I already run with the side muffler deletes.

I dont want it ridiculously loud.

I read that without the two pipes going into the silencer (like the original valved system) you will get drone, cruising.

Best to do a bit of re-search, as still a lot of money, plus cost of puting on and taking off.

It will be similar in noise but I expect a bit louder due to running either 100 or 200 cell cats

I have the Akrapovic rear box on my 997.1RS, matched to stock headers and cats, sounds amazing. No black flags for noise yet but I do stick to the louder 105dB drive-by days.
