Wondered if anyone had tried Toyo Proxes on their 911. Thinking of putting them on my 996 as they look really good value for money!

If they are like the ones on my evo then I wouldn't bother. Too much sidewall flex for my liking.

They’re ok for Rice boxes but I wouldn’t put them on a 911 personally.

Exactly this - they were rubbish on my DC2 ITR. Like the 911, it needs a stiff sidewall

False economy IMO - dig deeper for any Pilot Sport - the “normal” 4, not the 4S, were decent on my 996 c2 … I’ve got 4S on my 996T now but I don’t think you can get the rears in normal 996 format

Here’s what happened to the last Porsche owner who fitted Toyo proxes…

Stick to the Michelins if you can.

It may well have an adverse effect on your insurance if you were to make a claim

I used to run TR1's on my 400bhp Tuscan without any issues, however I doin't think I'd trust them on anything heavy.

Why on earth would it do that?
