Paint bubbling on GT3RS rear wing
Discussion
Hey, so I've got some paint bubbling on the rear wing of my lava orange gt3rs, and from what I can tell online it's apparently a fairly common problem (porsche used a different primer that has a habit of going bad). OPC Cambridge say the warranty doesnt cover this because it's not a metal panel.....is this true, can't see what the difference is, paint corroding is paint corroding to my mind.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue and had theirs done under warranty?

Agreed. OPC are playing hardball. Their take is the whole nose of the car doesn't have paint warranty as well?? Maybe try another OPC. Does the wing have PPF applied?Has anyone else faced a similar issue and had theirs done under warranty?

Agree, if the paint is factory paint and your car is still under the corrosion warranty and the paint in this area isn’t chipped why shouldn’t it be covered. Has anyone else faced a similar issue and had theirs done under warranty?
Poor reply from opc in my opinion.
Probably down to lack of experience within.
BMW were excellent on warrenty.
Porsche say no and work from there.
I like the cars but the service is miserable. West London take the honour as the most miserable.
I ended up buying a new 911 from Guildford as w London didn’t return calls. Reading ( same group - the irony ) we’re excellent with warranty and service.
Good luck.
