So how long is a piece of string question.

I have a 911 Cab with a May build slot.

I am seeking to keep options down and I dont like the sports seats.

Chrono and Bose bon bother me at all but they seem to be "must have" options to have a wider market when I come to sell it. Opinions will vary I am sure.

I am now down to colour.

Silver with Black

Agate Grey with Beige Interior. The crayon I like but it comes with slate grey which I dont

Whilst not a current colour the spec with the dealer is Aventurine Green. I like it ( it is not much different to Agate) but (a) it is green which in the past has unlucky connotations for cars - dad was in the trade green cars never sold - and (b) it is being discontinued so will date the car ( and I assume was not selling well or they would have kept it.

First world problem I know but always interested in views.

Thank you

Both are nice - avoid green - not that you can get it! Ours is being built in May as well and our spec started as a 911 coupe, migrated to a 4S coupe, then we saw a Petrol Ped video where he had a 4S silver convertible and we moved to a 4S convertible, before ramping up into a GTS 4 convertible specified, before asking questions on forums which racked the options up even further. Huston we've got a problem!

PS: If PTS was available then one green would be acceptable - NATO green!

You mention options to appeal to the wider market - Mojave beige will narrow down the market quite a bit on resale. And whilst Agate is a pretty good colour, I can't help feeling it's had its day already - been around for 10+ years.

You could say the same for GT silver but silver ages better and there will always be a silver offering of some sort on the 911. That would be my choice. The only changes I would make would be the crayon stitching option (free) and crayon seat belts which are a bit less than the beige interior option.

The other thing I'd add is if you were ever to sell to the likes of WBAC or Motorway, they don't seem to put much, if any, value on options.

Aventurine green will of course still be available for a MY23 car. If that’s what you like then go for it. The general rule is to spec for yourself not the next owner… I know it can be difficult! looking briefly at the spec chosen the Power Steering plus is the obvious option you may want to remove. It can be added later at slightly higher cost if really needed. Perhaps worth thinking an little about the practicality of driving the car in different scenarios - reversing cameras perhaps when you have the top up and it’s inclement weather.. Lane change assist perhaps for fast multi lane roads… hope this helps.

Thank you.

The sticking in crayon and the belts is a great idea.

I think it might be "resale silver"

All signed off today.

There was a similar non cab in the dealership which helped swing it.
