I've had my Carrera T for a few months now, but unfortantely I'm just not enjoying the shift feeling.

It feels like there is a notch to enter the gate, then a notch at the end when the shifter is in gear. As such, it feels too notchy, which I just haven't gelled with.

On top of that issue, I can never seem to get a clean shift & clutch engagement when flat out. Light & mid throttle is fine and can feel nice notchiness aside.

Anyone felt this way before? Tips and/or thoughts?

I generally drive mine in sports mode as the auto rev matching works well.

The 7 speed box does take a little getting used to but my car just turned 5 years old and its second nature for me now.

I have no issues as you describe.

What you are describing was considered by some people to be an issue on the 991.1, especially early models.
But my understanding and experience of the 991.2 is that it is vastly improved and generally very sweet.

I’ve moved onto a gt4 now, but I had a S for a couple of years. I can’t say I ever noticed what you describe. Might be worth trying to meet up with someone with same car to do a back to back to see if it’s your car. I understand the gear shirt is a bit short on the T
