Approved Parts recommendations - swapping red dials on 991
Discussion
I used Heiler Tachodesign when changing my 997.1 C2S white dials for black-with-classic green numbers (for that 80s hot-hatch look).
Website a bit difficult to understand, but I dropped them a line (Google translate did the trick both ways), sent a photo and the results were excellent quality.

I'm hoping to pick up a new (to me) 991.1 tomorrow and I'm keep to swap out the red dials (including sports chrono) and swap for either silver/crayon/black. Any suggestions or is this straight to an OPC to have my pants pulled down?
Is that the VVS car?Quite like red dials, looked at 2 x gt3's with red dials but ended up with boring standard colour!
I have red dials on my GT3. I expected to hate them, and my plan was the swap them immediately after picking up the car, but I still have them 4 years on! In real life they are considerably duller than in photos, and at night you can't even see that they're red - they are just backlit in the same way as any other colour. I've grown to like how they liven up the interior.
There are plenty of how-to posts around on Rennlist and similar showing how to do it if you want to go down the aftermarket route. It looks fiddly but not especially difficult to strip down the cluster. FVD sell (supposedly) OEM quality instrument faces.
