I have been scouring the Dealerships for some time until I came across this beauty yesterday . Straight onto the phone only to find that someone earlier had left a deposit and subject to viewing was buying the car . The search continues . Comparatively new to Porsche ownership its a lot of car for the money ?

Blimey, I thought they cost a lot more than that. That’s a pretty good price for such a capable car
On the face of it yes, but dig a little deeper…7 years old, not an ‘S’, and not first choice interior colour
Alternatively….
C2s 992
£8k more, similar performance, a generation newer and a 1/3 of the age.

I’m not sure what the first choice interior was for a 991 Turbo, but this looks nice to me. It reminds me of Californication.
It’s 90K, not 97K or 110K and it looks decent. You’d get 2 years warranty. If you buy on collecting cars you get no consumer protection and someone could easily be attempting to offload a car with a major hidden problem.

My thoughts entirely , thanks everyone for all the commentsIt’s 90K, not 97K or 110K and it looks decent. You’d get 2 years warranty. If you buy on collecting cars you get no consumer protection and someone could easily be attempting to offload a car with a major hidden problem.

When you consider the provenance and mileage of the car and where its coming from I didn't think it was that overpriced . Clearly I will get cheaper though not possibly better . The Carrera S I simply have no interest in , for me its the wrong colour and the wrong Model and besides I already have a GTS in Carmine . It would sadly be a braver man than me that handed over close to £100k for any Porsche bought privately in such an environment .

OPC supplied S at the same money, the non S you posted is at least 5k too expensive probably 10.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202209059...

It is a 1 owner car, which is always nice to see. What that equates to in £ is subjective of course.
Indeed, but personally i buy on condition and history. Mileage and owners is generally immaterial if the former checks out. Unless of course its moon miles then you could be looking at huge maintenance bills in the very near future. But i would not be spending 90k on a non S car. The brakes alone are worth it, particularly the road miles you get out of PCCBs. Also, resale, I imagine an S car would sell easier and maintain a premium if required.

HiCan I ask is your GTS 991.1 or 991.2 I’m looking at changing from my 997.2 to either a 991 GTS or turbo/turbo s interested in the reason for changing I’m currently thinking.2 GTS reasoning I can have a newer one for same money as turbo and the performance in the .2 is probably enough

Its a relatively low mileage 991.1 in Carmine Ric which is one of the last normally aspirated . I have absolutely no reason for changing other than a Turbo in Black has always been appealing . I havent any interest in Investment potential , I tend to drive my cars daily and at nearly 60 years of age who cares? Can I ask is your GTS 991.1 or 991.2 I’m looking at changing from my 997.2 to either a 991 GTS or turbo/turbo s interested in the reason for changing I’m currently thinking.2 GTS reasoning I can have a newer one for same money as turbo and the performance in the .2 is probably enough

Thanks , I did spot this earlier . I am contemplating going to see my old man in Glasgow next week so I may take a run up there . My choice however would still have been the London car .https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202209059...

Looks nice but always amazes me how sometimes they miss some basic cheap options. Who wouldn’t have paid for the Porsche crests on the headrests when that car was new for instance I have been scouring the Dealerships for some time until I came across this beauty yesterday .
