Anyone got any recent info on these aside from the older on line speculation? Does anyone have letter of intent in or expect to get one or will it be the usual 1 per OPC nonsense?

Why would people want one?

Is it because:
- Unobtainium - makes having one ‘exclusive’ ?
- The hope of making some tax free money (assuming the market remains bullish) ?
- It will actually be a very good/usable car ?
- It will be the last of the blah, blah, blah ….. ?

If it’s 550BHP, manual box and RWD I’d want it as a car to use very regularly and put some miles on/enjoy!

The last Sport Classic was quite bespoke.
The T is a base model with a few options.

The last sports classic was a 997 S with some awkward looking 70s bit thrown at it. Very valuable though given it’s low numbers, but easy to replicate if you like that look.

The 992 SC is rumoured to be mechanically more like a GT2….so think the power of the 911 Turbo but RWD…600 plus bhp. Who knows if it comes to be anything like that but as per usual the people getting one will already know who they are. If you have to ask for one it won’t be you that’s getting one.

There’s also rumoured to be a car coming our for the 50th anniversary of the 2.7 RS. Despite it being known as a 73 RS it was launched at the Paris show in 1972. So imagine it might appear this autumn.

Haha, ok fair enough. I'll accept awkward and expensive as interchangeable. Maybe awkward but expensive would be better?!

The car have 550hp 3.8 Turbo (Not S) engine and RWD (unique to 3.8 Turbo platform) and Price is about €280K Base from what i was told.

That number was mentioned online in an article. I fine it hard to get my head round that given the cars based on a turbo and will have an axle less! I’d have thought £170/£180K would be more realistic. But, hey, it’s Porsche so who knows!
