Anyone have surround view on a 992?

Hi

Just wanted to ask a few questions on the surround view,

I have read that if you have the surround view you also have access to the side mirror tilt via the PCM.

Or is the mirror tilt only available with memory seats?

Its not related to surround view - comes with the memory seats and folding mirrors I believe.

I have surround view on the previous gen PCM on the 992 as the mirror wouldn’t dip without the non memory seats. It why I ticked the option as the side cameras are great.

I have ticked the surround view option too, I just read somewhere that via the PCM you have access to the mirror dip if you had the surround view but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Wonder what new updates will come to the new version of PCM

I’ve gone with the 18 way and surround view for the next one but some have the new PCM so they might be able to have a look in a sub menu.

Mirror tilt only on memory seats. I asked Porsche if they would retrofit and they said no. Real pity I had had several cheaper new cars where it’s standard. Same is true about electronic handbrake. Very disappointing that’s no on the car either.

I have surround view on a 992 S. To be frank, it's a little disappointing because the screen image isn't sufficient for me to rely on it when manoeuvring in a tight space (like reversing into a garage) and I find I rely on the mirrors for a better perspective.

As has been stated, the dipping side mirror is a feature of the memory function.
