Hi All, I’m looking to buy a second set of wheels to put some cup tyres on.

Can anyone recommend a decent set which will fit. I have been looking at a used set of BBS LM but they are ET50 and I’m not sure that will fit the narrow bodied car.

Also, 18 or 19 inch for track tyres ?

Cheers !

RRP €8,400.00 going for €2,199.00 you wont find better than that.

OP is asking about 997.1 I believe.

The OZ ultraleggara are a really good option. Lightweight and reasonably priced.

Ah not savvy on that difference. If they won't fit the Gen 1 that is a shame as thats a good deal for a set of Gt3 wheels.

Well yes, apart from the fact they're centre locks, and the rear wheels are an inch too narrow, but apart from that they're an absolute blinding deal ...

Bet me to it , plus heavy wheel not ideal for track.
I run the same OZ wheels as mentioned above and have for about 9 years. Much lighter than stock and lasting well

Thanks all, yes it’s for a 997.1. I’ll have a look into the OZ wheels.

Can anyone confirm the ideal sizes ?
19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear ? What offsets ?

Thanks

Yes but It’s a 12” rear. The offsets will be embossed on your OE wheels, easy to see. Don’t get the RS offset by mistake.

997.1 GT3 Rear: 12x19 ET 68
997.1 GT3 Front 8.5x19 ET 53

5x130 bolt pattern.

Bear in mind they generally run 5mm spacers on the rear (I run 5mm spacers on the front too) - so the the ET values could be reduced by 5mm if you want to delete the spacers.

Some like-for-like Rear OZ's here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372128077327?hash=item5...

...and fronts here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272917311617?hash=item3...

Not sure if the prices are good, just for reference.

They're 18" not 19".

Rears are 2.5" too narrow ...

Offsets are wrong.

They most likely weigh a ton.

Apart from that, they're pretty much perfect.

Oh, and as Mr Vert says, they're rare because they're hideously ugly and they have no place on any GT3.

I'd quit whilst you're still ahead (just) Julian nuts

These are what the OP wants, but they're £3K plus shipping ... :
