I'm being told the Carmine Red GTS on Autotrader has an RRP of £135K which would make the overs reasonable, but I can't make it add up, am I missing something?

Speccing up mine always ran into the 130s, I can't tell for sure how much this would be but it would by looks of the spec be in that range, which makes overs somewhere in the 5-7k mark. given it's not limited production etc...in current supply climate...it's overs but 5% ish doesn't sound mental

£130k plus for a GTS is bonkers.

I remember my OPC’s demo 991.2 GTS had PCCB’s, 918 Buckets and came in at low £120k’s which I think was too much money to spend on one.

You can build the spec on the configurator which I have just done under PNCW2499. If I’ve captured everything it comes in at £119,833. This includes the £2,500 price increase that came in on 15th November and you need to add the Aerokit (not available at the mo but was £1,170 from memory) and the £2,000 road fund. Would have given them a buy of £120,503 give it take. The add says satin wheels but exterior high gloss pack. The high gloss pack adds high gloss wheels so might be an error.

Last thing, assume the PPF in black was the rear wheel arch which isn’t available at the mo. Think that was about £350.

With the Aerokit and PASM (10mm lower), Front Axle Lift might/might not be of interest but that’s excluded.

Depending on how patient you are, I put a deposit down 28th August and in November I was given a February allocation for a March delivery. Whilst the date could still slip, as things stand it’s looking like just over six months for a GTS. Unless money is no bother to you, you’ll save a fair few quid buying new and get the spec you want.

I’m going to have to calm down now. It’s taken me 15 years for my first post and now three in one day.

You are very lucky and this lead time is not the norm for a 992 GTS. I placed an order right at the start of July for a 992 GTS and still haven't had a friggin allocation, apparently I'm down to 3rd in line now on the dealers allocation list (I started at position 7 in the list). I've recently spoken to many dealers up and down the country and they're all saying if you were to place an order today then you're looking at Q4 2022/Q1 2023 for delivery.

To be fair I put down a deposit on a Gts back in Feb ( even though I guess technically it wasn’t ) but I got in there te day is was announced , my dealer is saying I’m the 3rd guy to get one and it’s a Porsche owned dealer and they are getting quite a few, I think it’s at least a 6 month wait , prob nearer 9 months ?

Don’t think I understand your message fully, but have you taken delivery of your car?

Sorry that wasn’t very clear .. I asked to put a deposit down in a Gts in Feb but the dealers were not meant to take deposits on them that early as not officially released .. but they did from me .. The car is at the dealers being prepared and I could have collected in tomorrow but I am not able to so have booked to collect on Monday .. excitement level is high 😱

Ah I see, congratulations you must be so excited!

When I originally placed my order at the start of July, I was told I'd have my car by Xmas this year. Now I'm being told March/April next year (Still no allocation so don't know how realistic that time frame is). When the GTS was announced back in June this year, people who got in early were given lead times of 6-9 months. If you place an order now lead times that are being quoted are 12-18 months.

I put my deposit down for the 992 C4 GTS in July when they were released. My options included the gloss black aero kit. I eagerly waited for my build slot and got the call mid November. My build slot was February 22 for delivery in march 22… brilliant. Then, I got the second call explaining the aero kit was suspended due to COVID related supply issues. Gutted. I was given the option of going ahead without the aero kit, but I’m holding out until they are reintroduced. I’m next in line as soon as the aero kit is back. Fingers crossed it’s not too long… Anyone else with a similar experience? Thanks
