120 is taking it fairly easy with these cars, this is just yet more of the ‘war on the motorist’ politically motivated Brakeist anti speeding hysteria. Excessive.
They were dumb enough to stick their heads above the parapet by posting their flagrant disregard for the law on the most public platform. In this instance, the law has chosen to make an example of them for all their "disciples" to see.
Had they been caught speeding out in the wilds by a mobile speed camera or traffpol car, they'd have got a healthy points tally/maybe a ban along with a chunky fine, and they'd have gone on their way and no one would be any the wiser.

They have been posting you tube videos like that for a long time so I suppose their luck eventually had to run out with the police, now we know why vehicle villains has been so quiet. Won’t see him again doing any videos .
their channel has been taken down. What a pair of morons, really. Imbeciles, they should be jailed. julian987R said:

From the clip posted, they were on almost deserted roads with good sight lines in cars comfortably equipped for what they were doing, with no (or minimal risk) to anyone else. Certainly not really ‘dangerous’.Of course videoing it and uploading it to YouTube is stupid, and made them a prime candidate to be made an example of to deter others.
Far more ‘dangerous’ driving can be witnessed in any ‘dangerous drivers’ video posted on Facebook, but doubt the police do anything with the majority of those.

What you see is an edited clip, who's to say they didn't put others in danger. There are no if's and buts here (though I know you are not defending them), they are a menace to society and thankfully two less morons are behind the wheel of a car, and instead should be behind bars. What a pair of dolts.

Makes no odds if they are deemed not as dangerous as other dangerous drivers. Thats a moot point. The fact remains they are a danger to others.
There was only one other cars in the clip I saw and to which I was referring to, and there was minimal danger.julian987R said:

Who’s to say they did? Driving at high speed on a deserted road does not make you a menace to society.Edited by Sport_Turismo_GTS on Sunday 12th December 08:33

Sorry, but you must be one of those guys that buy a car to drive in their garage.
Take a look at your own motorways and tell me how they were dangerous driving on deserted roads and need to be jailed.

The fact that you drive like that without causing danger to yourself or others, at the right time, in the right conditions in the right car is one thing. You also may need a little luck and no unexpected sheep, standing water etc.Of course videoing it and uploading it to YouTube is stupid, and made them a prime candidate to be made an example of to deter others.

Posting it online just encourages others whi may have less experience to try and do similar things, so no surprise they are made an example.
The video generation should sometimes turn them off and enjoy the moment rather than looking for likes.

Did they actually show there speeds on the video?!
Looked like the speedo was blurred out, so not sure how the very specific speeds were deduced, though the clips did seem to show fairly obvious speeds above the limit.Would be interesting to know what the evidence test is in this kind of case.
I always thought this video from PH was a bit bold to post online:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcjJjTJion0
It's a great video and I don't personally think the driving was dangerous, but it's pretty full on in places and have wondered whether it and videos like it could be used as evidence were the right people inclined.
