Left hand drive.

Still cheap at the moment though, even with steels and folding buckets. Beautiful car

It dose not appear to have been registered anywhere, ever. Add import duty & VAT into the mix too.

“ originally delivered to Lebanon Porsche” - wasn’t expecting that. It isn’t registered - is that going to create a tax implication? Surely a ball ache ahead?

For me it’s close to perfect - the colours really work, I always thought it would only suit darker colours.

from the questions section...

Hi M33ufo - VAT has not been paid on this car. To get it registered in the UK the VAT would need to be paid. The car came with a 2-year warranty and this expired in September this year. A 2-year extended warranty can be bought for around £1,800 + an inspection fee of £270 + vat.

20% VAT plus import duty plus extended warranty adds up to a lot of dosh. Include the £6k buyers fee and being LHD then its hardly surprising its not fetching top money.
Just noticed its on Steels which reduces value by a further £10k.
I also expect there will be the UK first year registration fee of £2k as well.

Yes its a load of hassle for little return unless you specifically want a white RS lhd cs with steels.

Such are the recent toppy prices on CC the car will doubtless end up an expensive one.

another one for sale here, you'll need to ship it over though (plus pay the tax etc)

or one that is actually in Europe and (I assume tax paid) already:

there are a couple more deliver mileage cars for 260, 290 and 300. I guess if you want a new, delivery mileage car for your living room, you do not have that much choice

This case will forever put me off importing a car, or having a car ‘in bond’.
