I've just locked an order with PC Reading for a Turbo S Cab for April build. I want to do a full PPF wrap as soon as the car arrives. I've used Paintshield twice before and been happy with their work, particularly as they picked up and dropped off my cars in Bucks which was very handy as I live out of the UK. I haven't asked Porsche at Reading for a recommendation yet as I suspect they will recommend their own shop. Any thoughts on who to use?

Would you not consider getting it fitted at the factory, it’s a option on the configurator ?

That's a thought. The factory wrap is front only and I could use Topaz or similar to finish the full wrap. Anyone seen the quality of the factory PPF?

They do seem to have the name. I wonder if they will pick up and deliver. Shmee always drops off and picks up I notice. That might have more to do with giving him more content opportunities. wink

That's good to know. I've used the Liquid Car Care guys in Kinnerton St to get my cars detailed in the past and been very happy with them.

I have used Jules Sturgess Automotive in Fowlmere (south of Cambridge) for full PPF wraps on two cars in the last year and I have been delighted with his work using Xpel Ultimate PPF. He is doing another car for me next week (a front end PPF).

Two of my current cars have had PPF from Topaz Bristol and in both cases the job is flawless. They picked my cars up from the dealers and delivered back FOC. The one good thing about Topaz is their no quibble warranty on their work which for me personally why I'd always choose them.

I’ve used topaz a good few times and think they are excellent. No quibble on warranty as Taffy said. I’ve also used max protect and would use topaz ahead of them, mainly down to customer service and efficiency. Janis in max protect is a good guy for sure and worth talking to also.

Could not agree more about Topaz Bristol on quality and service. Greg and the team are passionate about it

Hi,
Hope this finds you well..
I used to use Paintshield for around 12 years, they must have done around 30-40 cars of mine. Always great service and did the work whist I waited, was good value also. I get to see a lot of PPF work on track days, I noticed a SENNA back in early 19 the PPF was simply faultless, it was done by TPZ, from this point I have only used TPZ London for PPF. Yet to see anyone that does it better.

Not used them directly but my current car had a TOPAZ full PPF fitted from new, its now 3 years old and is absolutely spot on. I cant fault it and loads of friends cant even see it has any PPF installed so after 3 years that speaks volumes.

I've ticked the factory front PPF option and then will have Topaz Bristol do some extra bits for me when the car arrives at the dealer...

Jules Sturgess recently applied PPF on my Boxster 25. Very impressed. Won't use anyone else. He's also a really nice guy.

Max Protect in Kings Langley is the place to go. I have driven 21k miles hard driving over European mountain passes in the last 3 years. No peeling, brilliant self healing and the car still looks new. Really professional and bespoke service, speak to Janis, he’s the ppf maestro 👍
