992 GT3 Touring (Numbers)
Discussion
Porsche will limited the touring model numbers compared to the regular GT3, so it will probably finish something like 3 to 1.
They have launched it six months after the regular GT3 and dealers are talking smaller numbers.
But there will be, I imagine, more touring cars than the 991 version.
The winged GT3 will always be the more popular car as it is a track tool and the winged car fits the bill.

Porsche will allocate Touring models according to how customers spec their cars it isn't a 'separate' model GT3 with finite build numbers. They have launched it six months after the regular GT3 and dealers are talking smaller numbers.

As the Touring will be seen as the 'unicorn' GT3 (mainly driven by higher values of the 991.2 lol) this could in contrast actually result in there being more 992 Tourings than 992 winged cars and consequently the winged cars could well end up being the 992 GT3 unicorn as a result with correspondingly higher values. I will be speccing a winged GT3 anyway because I have always done and prefer them to the rather boring looking Touring.

I think this time round the GT3 touring is a separate model as shown on the configurator.
Yes but what I am saying is there aren't a finite number of GT3s and GT3 Tourings as Porsche will build the required number of each according to which model customers given an allocation request.Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
