How would you spec your 992 GTS?

I'm in the fortunate position (well, in my eyes anyway) of having an order in on a 992 GTS.
I currently drive a 991.2 GTS and love that. The spec of that car is Agate grey, PDK, GTS interior pack, Bose, 18 way and a few other bits and bobs that escape me.
I presume what I am thinking for the spec of this one will not be to everyone's cup of tea, but, I'm not overly old, have worked hard for my money and want something slightly asbo, hence the Aerokit option. I'd love a 992 GT3, but am not in a position to have spent £100's of thousands at an OPC for the past few years to even attempt to get on a list!

What is pretty nice is I have been speccing up a 992 S or months and the GTS is coming out at the same price pretty much - every option I was ticking is included, with the exception of the manual (I believe anyone who specs a manual GTS is just losing out?!).
I have a few questions on a few things that you lot might be able to help with, or at least offer your opinion on.
Manual or PDK
An age-old debate. I pretty much daily my car. Not every day, but most days. Is a manual liveable with in this scenario? part of me wants a manual for 30 odd percent of the time I like to have fun, although my work commute is on a national speed limit road for 20 mins - very little traffic. We have another family car I will drive for any lengthy drives or City stuff.
In the configurator it states the manual comes with:
Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) is standard with a mechanically locking rear differential.
Variable drive torque distribution by intelligent braking of the rear wheels.
Rear differential with asymmetrical locking
Improves agility and steering precision as well as traction and driving stability
Is this standard on all manual 992 Porsches? if so, the only difference with the GTS is a -10mm stick?
The free PASM option
From what I can gather, the car comes as standard with the GTS specific, -10mm PASM. Speccing the free one on the configurator will remove this and add the standard PASM (+10mm). Is that right?
Would you keep the standard one? I presume with this you get the GTS specific dampers and roll bars? And the helper springs? All borrowed from the Turbo. Removing it will remove these, right?
Interior
What are the specific differences in the interiors? What elements are covered in what? I cannot quite bring myself to splash £5k on the GTS interior. Someone mentioned that speccing the option 'Race-Tex interior with extensive items in leather' is the same as the GTS interior, minus the crayon stitching and other crayon accents (belts and dials) - is that right? My current car has the alcantara lower dashboard - is there any way to get this with the new car? it looks (from the promo images) that you get it with the GTS interior. But on the configurator it doesn't render like Race-tex. Switching between the GTS interior and the Race-Tex interior with extensive items in leather this area does seem to render exactly the same. As does the gaiter on the shifter - this looks like leather on both?
Can anyone shed any light on this? The interior is the one bit I'm really stuck on. I want all leather and Race-tex, but am not overly fussed about the crayon stitching and would really prefer not to have crayon dials and seat belts.

The carbon and contrast stitching and centre lock wheels are a key part of the GTS ‘identity’ and I think will be pretty important for future resale (not that that is or should be the key consideration)

As I said, for me personally it's the Race-tex, carbon, centre lock wheels that do it for me - the contract stitching has crossed my mind. But you might be right...

I didn't know anyone else thought that. I'm like...it's a GTS - it should be a bit chavvy. If you don't want that, get a base model or an S. The whole point of the GTS spec (and it is a spec), is for it to be a little more boy-racer.Edited by OliOC on Monday 5th July 14:35

In years to come people will actively look for a aerokit equipped car i think.
The rest of the spec is for you to decide. I get thoroughly confused with the racetec options on the gts and what it gives you!
Centre locks are a unique feature to the gts so get those as well.

Which is a real shame as the GTS interior pack is £5k (for some reason the carbon pack gets increased to £2.5k and must be included) which is a bit of a joke, and the centre lock wheels are just massive aggro if you ever need to get them off (from bitter experience sadly).IMO you want to get the GTS interior package and leave the pasm (ie don’t delete it)

I'm lucky in that my father-in-law owns a decent garage, so I can easily remove/administer the centre-lock wheels as he has the correct torque wrench. I can imagine punctures being a complete pain though, which I've yet to experience in my 991.2 GTS ownership. You're right, I've only noticed that most of the cost is the increase of the Extended Interior Package in matt carbon from £ 506.00 to £ 2,231.00. What's that about?
I found the same with speccing a 992 S - I was basically up to GTS price, and the residuals will be far higher on a GTS car. Plus I prefer the little bits like the matt black front splitter etc.

- Porsche crest on the centre armrest - I always feel that really adds to the interior!
- SportDesign Side Skirts
The crest on the centre armrest is a good shout. I prefer the black side skirts though, and I believe speccing the SportDesign Side Skirts will make them body-coloured?

997 GTS with Aerokit seem to hang around if anything (911 Virgin had one for quite a while recently)….and you don’t see people going mad for the ducktail on the 991.1 GTS either.
I’d also agree with what was said above about speccing a GTS…it’s a GTS so people want all the GTS specifics including interior, the interior is a big part of what differentiates a GTS from a Carrera/S. Cars without the expensive GTS interior box ticked don’t sell as quickly….that applies to 997 GTS, and both 991 GTS’s. Doubt 992 will be any different. I
