Gen 1 996 cup/can holder

Is there a good aftermarket cup holder available for the gen 1 996? Just bought a 2001 C4 and like the lotus Elise I had before its not a standard item. Yes I know the gen 2’s have them which was also an option for me but I wasn’t prepared to buy a car based on that criteria.

No future in a open can of drink wedged between my legs 😬

These are the proper mk1 996 cup holders.
They clip into the small holes in your air vents.

Thanks. I have seen these since I posted but have checked the vents but can’t see any obvious holes. I would of thought there either there or not or is it year dependent? My car is late gen 1 4/2001

Holes will be there. unless 996.2 dash inserts have been changed. They are small indents inside the edge of vents. (there on my 98 model car). I would like a cheaper better aftermarket option for mine if you find one.

My 2001.1 has a pair in the centre console, completely useless & will be deleted if I ever get around to doing the GT3 console delete.
