How long in production phase? - 992

My 992 went into production on Friday - does anyone know how long cars are typically in the production phase before being delivered?

Mine exits production on the 22nd March and I have been told UK date of 22nd April!!! I think Porsche are being a bit conservative with delivery times unless Emden is jammed up.

I was told that there is a no sale date embargo until the 26th March but I don't know if that is true or just dealer talk.

My GT3 was supposed to be mid-Feb delivery but got pulled forward and exited production on 20 December and was in the dealer by the 5th Jan even with Christmas & NY getting in the way.

Enjoy it when it turns up and keep us posted.

As far as I know there are two major variables with delivery. How long your car waits at Emden for a shipping (up to a week) and then when it reaches the UK OPC’s generally get one delivery a week so that can be a variable too.

Mine goes in to production next week and was told by the dealer that delivery should be around 3 weeks after that if all goes well so I guess end March looks good for you

I've been told now that my car comes out of production on the 8th - but that there is an embargo on cars coming into the UK, due to emissions and pending UK Certification.

Does anyone know any details on this?

My car is showing as only being down to be delivered on the 12th of April, but comes out of production on the 8th of March... seems a long time between these 2 dates?

I'm travelling during most of april, hence keen for it to arrive in March so I can enjoy it for a couple weeks before going off!
