997 GT2 v Amg GTR?

What would you pick? Both turbo, similar prices, similar power.. What's your take? Especially those who owned 997 gt2 what is your take on them? The AMG is FUN, noise, driving, etc, bit fat and slightly too big.
What would a 997 gt2 (modified ones included) offer? I'm really trying to justify a gt2, always loved it, but GTR is such a good value car.
