Can anybody offer any advice on systems available - just the slip on rear silencer replacement design to unleash a bit more noise! I don’t want to replace the whole system, only the rear silencer.

Sharkworks seem very popular (plus good vids on that version by Mr JWW) - but has anybody tried the same design Akrapovic version - just wondering if tone is any different because titanium vs stainless steel - I doubt any difference but has anybody on here heard both?

Also anybody know which would be the best dealer to contact for either make? Thanks...

Sharlworks, BRE, JCR.
Titanium meant to make the sound more high pitched, compared to stainless steel.

I've found the stock sound quiet underwhelming at low revs, and looking at re bypass too.

For stainless steel there's Sharkwerks or Soul, the latter being particularly good value..I've put a JCR Titanium centre bypass on my 991.2GT3 which is growing in terms of quality and image..If i was you i'd get JCR or for a cheaper SS alternative i'd get Soul..

Does the JCR make the car louder at lower revs too? Sub 4 k I think my car is plenty loud enough inside the cabin

Thanks all for the feedback....

Taffy66 - I like the look of the JCR Titanium, looks good quality and reasonable value. Do you get any drone at motorway speeds? Just conscious to enhance the sound, but avoid drone as I like to do a few Euro road trips. Seems that all of these systems (ti or SS) are still fairly sensible when the valves are closed (no PSE), hopefully!

You notice the difference even at idle..Mine's a non-silenced version however there's also a silenced bypass..No drone i'm aware of but everybody's ears are different.
Just speak to Johnny Cocker directly and he'll explain the differences..There are many threads about JCR's products running on Rennlist.

Bang for buck is Soul. Anything Titanium I would go JCR as UK based and easy to communicate with.
