Thanks Ric (s
t mechanic)I’m guessing here. The spoiler light on my car with a fixed spoiler illuminates then goes out above 5mph or so. Is it the pads sensor or the abs sensor light that’s also illuminating?
If the spoiler light is dependent on the abs sensor to detect speed then I’d have thought a duff abs sensor could cause both lights to illuminate. Check the abs sensor and wiring carefully. I don’t know (but I guess) the 911 uses a reluctor ring (a toothed wheel on the inside of the hub) to trigger the abs sensor. Could you have damaged or disturbed that? On other cars I’ve seen them spilt, or even very dirty triggering the abs light.
