The 991.2s are generally great cars the steering feel seems to have improved a lot compared with the 991.1

The GTS, GT3 touring and T have been taking a lot of time on this forum with there being lots of very happy GTS and T owners.

Suspect some of this is due to the tweaks that Porsche has been making e.g. with the steering feel.

But i dont see many new S owners which seems strange as its previously been such a mainstay of 911 sales. When i bought a 997 GT3 the S was considered the popular sporting choice, the Turbo for a rapid but more GT like car and the GT3 was actually considered a more hardcore choice (that you could actually order and expect to lose money on)

What are all the previous S buyers doing? GTS or fighting for a Gt3 alloc?

Is the S a great car that is being overlooked for various reasons or are we simply at the tail end of the 991 now so lower S sales in favour of "special models" what is expected.

Im personally confused why you would buy a T over an S right now with more power and better brakes in the S yet there is a long topic full of happy T buyers and nothing about new S buyers.

May be wrong but I believe 911 RHD new order book now closed till 992 launched? I think the T is Porsche at its best. Less is more , price same etc smile

Off topic I think there may be high demand for all 18 plate UK RHD 911 variants for circa next 6 months as you cannot buy a new 911 in the UK according to my dealer but perhaps I have misunderstood?

My OPC SE told me about three months ago he had a customer that wanted an S but he couldn’t get a build slot for 12 months! I suspect PCGB has been delivering/prioritising T’s and GTS’s instead as they have certainly been available.

Ok makes sense the configurator says nothing about this. I guess they just have no need to want to make the S right now when they can charge more for a GTS while it can be seen as good value for a customer its even better vaoue for porsche smile and the T is literally less for more. They are a smart company for sure.
