Best after market exhaust on 991 GT3 RS?

This used to happen on 1.2 Corsa's and we all took the piss , now it's seems a rich chavs thing to do, I don't get it myself !
The cars already very loud as is and has a nice ti system on it.
Think the main difference is that the 1.2 Corsa owner wanted his car to actually make a noise (instead of none) and didn't care how he did it as long as it was loud. The cars already very loud as is and has a nice ti system on it.
I agree the 991 GT3 & RS standard exhaust sounds epic when its fully lit at high RPM but we sell lots of Sharkwerks rear silencer bypass pipes for GT3 (inc RS) and the main reason from customers is that they want more of the drama at lower RPM. The Sharkwerks allows the owner to experience the wonderful soundtrack at a much wider (and more license friendly) RPM range without the need to drive it like you've stolen it. In addition the exhaust valves still operate so you can leave them closed and it sounds almost standard & open them up for full effect and they are lighter in weight.
I must be a 'rich chav' (I wish!) as I often change the exhaust on my cars, not all but most. Let me recall some...
MK 2 Escort 1600 sport - Janspeed
VW Golf GTi mk2 3dr - Janspeed
VW Golf GTi mk2 5dr - Magnex
Saxo VTS - Magnex
Saxo VTS - Borla
Subaru Impreza STi - Blitz
Subaru Impreza WRX - HKS
Mitsubishi Evo 6 - Blitz
Ford Focus supercharged - Borla
EP3 Civic Type R - DC Sports
Honda S2000 - AMUSE titanium
FN2 Civic Type R - Milltek
BMW 1M - Milltek
997 GTS - Sharkwerks
981 GT4 - Sharkwerks (tips only)
BMW M3 E92 - Milltek
Looks like i'm a sucker for a sports exhaust LOL

What do you do for the GT4? Is it tips only?
If it is, do you (or anyone else) have any experience of how they get on at UK trackdays - thinking Oulton in March?
Many thanks
lol you are not going to like the R then, it's very quite, it's best to unplug the vacume pipe in the engine bay though as at least the flaps are open then at low revs. there is never a need to want the flaps closed on the R lol
The issue I have with GT cars is they are track cars and already VERY loud and cannot get on track, I would not say a GT3 RS is a quite car stock.
the next issue I have is people at car meets reving their engines, the last SCD driver day was a point in case at Ferrari Notts, some **** in a Lambo S just kept reving and reving the nuts off his car in the car park , it's all very odd imo.
This seems very common with Lambo owners and you tubers and it's getting bad press and many nice venues are refusing meets and making local papers, one of my local meets has been banned now.
even this has hit classics in the castle, rich Chavs fitting straight though pipes to the old air cooled cars, and now the locals want to ban the meet, as for some reason they sit in their cars reving the nuts off them !!!
I did this when I was 17 why do people do it now at 40 ?
the 997.2 GTS and the dfi cars yes I agree don't sound as nice and a sharkwerks on a 997.2 or the likes is a great mod.
MY GT4 was ****** loud imo, every one turns heads, and people said it was a quite car lol !! the issue is too much sound insulation !!! not the need for a louder exhaust.
the 981 Spyder is asbo lol in my local village I have already had bad looks, it's sounds very chav PSE on, but too quite off !!! agggg.
my 987.2 SPyder is louder as I have manifolds but that was for performance reasons, the net effect was a lot more noise and I cannot now get on Bedford track days with it., not that I like that track anyway lol

Sadly its tips only for the GT4 from Sharkwerks although there are lots of others for the GT4 offering manifolds and various spec systems - have a look at Fabspeed.
The GT4 sounds pretty epic standard, especially with the valves open. Track day wise you shouldn't have any issues dependent on the noise limits for the day. If its a quiet day running with the valves closed should suffice.

the valves open on wot so closed is never closed and open is never open as they close at lower speeds ......Sadly its tips only for the GT4 from Sharkwerks although there are lots of others for the GT4 offering manifolds and various spec systems - have a look at Fabspeed.

I don't like the sounds of the 981 Spyder valves open but when closed they open if I put my foot down ....
same with the R hence I said unplug the vacume connection as always on is not loud anyway.
