991.1 Turbo S- rumble and ticking noise

I picked up my used 991.1 TS a few weeks back. I've noticed a couple of odd noises from the engine. I've had a 991.1 TS before and so am pretty sure that its not normal, or my previous never made these sounds anyway.

One of the noise is a fast regular ticking sound. I only noticed this when I walked to the back of the car with the engine running.

The second noise is more difficult to explain. I can hear it in the cabin. I can only hear it at idle or very low revs but I don't know if thats just because the increased road/engine noise covers it up.

I would describe it as an irregular rumble.

Any ideas?

More than enough Tech on 991.1 Turbo S, that will store, record any problem's in its fault codes.
Any OPC will be able to put your mind at ease.

For the ticking sound have you checked the engine oil level may be slightly low?

I've only had the car a few weeks and bought as an approved OPC car so I would hope that engine oil and fault codes etc would have been checked.

But something doesn't sound right to me, or as I said, sounds different to my previous 991.1 TS.

A trip to the local OPC it is then. Annoying as I've only driven about 200 miles in the car so far.
