Quite odd,car bought new 4 months ago now,two thousand odd miles on clock.Tyre pressures on all tyres the same as the day I picked it up.At first thought the TPMS was faulty so did a manual check ,and also when driving you can see the tpms figures change as the tyres warm up.

Assuming the tyres are not filled with nitrogen isn't this odd ? Never had a car go anywhere near this length of time without needing air.

My Cayman since March tyre pressures as the day I picked it up, until last week front right warning lit up & was 0.4 down, panic thought puncture.
No, when I got home refilled back to 2.1, checked all others, 2 were 0.1 down, so refilled. Currently all @ 2.0 & 2.1 when warmed up.

Not odd in my experience. My Boxster and Turbo get serviced every 5K miles and the tech always checks/sets the tire air pressures. I often drive the 5K miles without even checking tire pressures. I do walk around the car and check each tire, that is look at each tire, looking for any signs of an underinflated tire.

Had my 2003 Turbo in for service at 155K miles back on April 26 of this year. Just so happens the car is just a few hundred miles away from its 160K mile servce. The other day the car felt a little odd like it was getting a low tire. Tires looked ok but I stopped in at the dealer and a tech checked and the tire pressures were a few PSI low. He topped up the air pressure.

Why was the air pressure low? It has gotten colder since April when the tire pressures were set which accounts for the drop in pressure. Figure about 1PSI drop in pressure for every 10F drop in temperature. As colder ambitent temperature becomes the norm now with what passes for winter here setting in the tires become a bit under inflated.
