997 GTS PDK with the stopwatch on the dash.

I cannot find the sports chrono menu. If I push the lever away I get (as I recall) oil level, set, navi etc. But no Chrono.

Am I doing something daft?

yes, sports chrono is a useless feature... stop being foolish and forget about it...

(yes, there should be a menu using the lower left lever, I played with it for the first time in my 997 GTS yesterday, and swiftly remembered that it's st...)

I cannot find it anywhere, on my old 997 I didn't seem to be able to avoid it. The stopwatch is also not illuminated with the lights on - is the thing even working?

they only light up when you go into the menu, but I have only done it once as it does nothing !

Unless I am being utterly retarded, chrono is missing off the menu.

Used vehicle? Pretty sure you can remive features from the screen on the vehicle settings (on same screen)

Used vehicle.

I have been into settings and don't see an option to remove or add sports chrono.

Mystery solved.

I had cruise retro fitted by my OPC about 18 months ago and they goofed when coding it, taking the chrono out. It's a simple fix apparently.

It shows how often I've used it though!

That's funny, I had exactly the same happen to me, I had the dealer fit cruise control to my R before I picked it up, and this knocked chrono and some other options off the menu.

Once I realized the car had to go in for it to be programmed back in.

A common problem the engineer told me.

Sounds like it needs a vehicle handover with piwis.
Another option that often drops off, along with heated seats, and h /lightwash.
